NEWS: Adam Rose Releases Doctor's Note
NEWS: Adam Rose was recently suspended after failing his second WWE wellness test. Rose quickly took to Twitter to deny any wrong doings and promised to clear the air with a statement from the doctor. Rose has stayed true to his word and released a note from his person doctor. The note is dated 4/22/2016 and states the following:
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter on behalf of Adam Rose (Raymond Leppan D.O.B. 7/20/79), whom I have treated since 4/30/2015. He has classic signs and symptoms of ADHD, determined through a very thorough psychiatric exam on 4/30/15. He takes Adderall XR, which is an FDA approved treatment for ADHD, and we have followed all standard of care protocol during his treatment, which has gone very well. He takes his medication as prescribed, and he is compliant with my treatment recommendations.
Signed,
Charles Devine, M.D.
Dr. Devine is a licensed psychiatrist practicing out of Brandon, FL. He is listed and ranked as one of U.S. News' Best Doctors in America. It would be difficult to believe that a written response from a prestigious doctor would be factitious. When Rose was asked why he didn't immediately go to WWE medical to let them know about his prescription, he answered, "They've known for over a year." WWE has yet to make any response to Rose's claims; but, has some answering to do if Rose's statement is indeed true and he was suspended for taking Aderall to treat a diagnosed medical condition.
