HOUR ONE
- Stephanie McMahon makes her way to the ring with a red gift bag in tow. As she begins speaking, she is interrupted by her brother, Shane McMahon. Stephanie pulls a framed photo out of her bag. It is the same photo Vince McMahon destroyed of he and Shane. Stephanie has reframed it as a token of appreciation for her brother. They are both interrupted by Kevin Owens, who comes to the ring demanding an Intercontinental Championship match tonight. Owens is then interrupted by Cesaro, who also wants an Intercontinental Championship match. Stephanie and Shane have the two square off to determine the #1 contender for the Intercontinental Championship.
- Cesaro defeats Kevin Owens by DQ. The Miz, who is on commentary with his wife Maryse, interferes in the match. A brawl ensues, which Sami Zayn joins. The melee ends with Zayn holding the Intercontinental Championship.
- Stephanie McMahon is backstage with Dean Ambrose. Stephanie will be tonight's guest on the Ambrose Asylum
- R-Truth is backstage with his new tag team partner, Tyler Breeze. They are each confronted by Goldust, who is jealous of their newfound partnership. Goldust calls the duo, "Average Looking Truth." This draws the ire of Breeze. Goldust is joined by his new partner Fandango.
- Tyler Breeze (with R-Truth) defeats Goldust (with Fandango) via pinfall
- A.J. Styles is seen backstage chatting up Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. Gallows and Anderson state, "There is no way Roman Reigns leaves Extreme Rules as WWE Champion." Reigns, joined by the Usos, confronts the trio. This confrontation sets up RAW's main event: a six man tag match, Usos & Reigns vs Styles, Gallows, and Anderson
HOUR TWO
- New Day makes their way to the ring to talk the number one contender's tournament and update on Enzo Amore's health. They are interrupted by the Vaudevillains, who gloat over putting Enzo Amore in the hospital. Aiden English states, "A real man would have gotten back...Enzo Amore is the realest guy in the Emergency Room." The Vaudevillains are interrupted by the Dudleyz (who want a shot at New Day) and Big Cass, who is angry about the Vaudevillains talking badly about Enzo Amore.
- New Day and Big Cass defeat the Vaudevillains and the Dudley Boyz after Big Cass pinned Devon
- Emma defeated Becky Lynch via pinfall
- Primo and Epico vignette
HOUR THREE
- Ambrose Asylum with Stephanie McMahon: Ambrose tries to get under Stephanie's skin; but, it does not work. Stephanie informs him that she is cancelling the Ambrose Asylum and replacing his show with Chris Jericho's Highlight Reel. As Jericho makes his way to the ring, he and Ambrose brawl. Jericho ends up destroying Mitch, Dean Ambrose's plant, in the process.
- Rusev wins a Battle Royal to become the new #1 contender to Kalisto's United States Championship
- Charlotte and Ric Flair make their way to the ring to gloat about Charlotte's victory over Natalya at WWE Payback. They call long-time family friend, referee Charles "Little Naitch" Robinson, to the ring to confirm the validity of Charlotte's victory last night. Robinson states that while Natalya did not physically submit by tapping, she did audibly submit by verbally giving up. They are interrupted by Natalya. A fight ensues. Nattie gets the better of Charlotte and then attacks Ric, putting him in the Sharp Shooter. Ric leaves the ring; but, forgets his Rolex (given to him after his retirement match against Shawn Michaels). As Charlotte and Ric escape to the backstage area, they are confronted by Stephanie McMahon who informs them that Charlotte will face Natalya at Extreme Rules in a Submission Match. Ric Flair will be barred from ringside.
- A.J. Styles, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows defeat the Usos and Roman Reigns after Styles pins Jimmy Uso. Postmatch: There is a huge brawl. Anderson and Gallows grab Reigns and hold him down for Styles. They urge Styles to attack Reigns with a chair; but, he refuses. Meanwhile the Usos sneak up on Styles and hit him with the chair. A brawl ensues. A.J. then beats the Usos with a chair, while Reigns, now loose, watches. Reigns then attacks Styles, eventually powerbombing him through the announcer's table to close RAW.
