NEWS: Mayor Kane?

NEWS: Kane has played several eclectic roles in the wild and zany world of professional wrestling. First he was Isaac Yankem, D.D.S., Jerry Lawler's demented dentist, with a penchant for extracting teeth and causing significant amounts of dental pain. Then Kane put on a mask and decided he was Undertaker's long-lost brother, returned from the deadly blaze that disfigured him and seeking revenge. Eventually Kane turned in the mask for a more subdued Capitalist gimmick and became Triple H's henchman, Corporate Kane. Now Kane's unique interests are swaying him away from wrestling and into the sordid world of American politics. Kane, who has been interested in right wing politics for quite some time, is being mentioned as a possible candidate for Mayor in Knoxville, Tennessee. The mayoral race won't take place until 2018; but, that didn't stop the Big Red Machine from speculating, "Yes, I’ve talked about it with some folks but there’s nothing too solid yet. Mayor Burchett’s term is coming up and I think he’s been really good for Knox County. I think the most important thing is I care very deeply about this community, like a lot of people do. And that’s the only reason I would consider getting into any sort of government because I do care very deeply. And I think it’s incumbent upon people who care about the communities to try to make a difference. What I’ve seen in Knox County the past several years is that taxes have remained low because it’s a great place to live. People move here and that helps expands the tax base. My political philosophy is the ‘smaller the better. Government should stay out of the way and let free enterprise do what it does best.” If Kane does indeed decide to run for Mayor of Knoxville, Tennessee, why stop there? Is it possible that one day we will see a President Kane? More bizarre things have happened. Just look at this year's Presidential candidates.
