NEWS: Former ROH Owner to Confront Ric Flair Over Money Owed

NEWS: With Ric Flair scheduled to take part in a Q&A at the Sands Casino in Bethlehem, PA, on July 23rd former Ring of Honor Owner Cary Silkin took to Twitter to promise a confrontation between he and Flair. Silkin alleges that Flair owes him $41,000 USD and tweeted the following:

Ric Flair and Steamboat live 7/23 at Sands in Bethlehem I will be there to collect the 41k Flair owes me #wwe @RicFlairNatrBoy @ringofhonor

Ring of Honor did file legal proceedings against Flair in January of 2010 alleging that Flair owed the Company in excess of $40,000. The monies owed were due to what ROH described as Flair failing to live up to his contracts as an ROH Ambassador. Flair allegedly missed a series of ROH appearances and pocketed the money he was paid before signing with the WWE, never refunding Ring of Honor. After Sinclair bought Ring of Honor in 2011, the lawsuit was dropped; but, Silkin has continually alleged that Ric Flair still personally owes him the money.
