NEWS: Goldberg Featured in WWE2K17; Speculation on HOF induction, & Match with Brock Lesnar

NEWS: WWE had been teasing an announcement through its social media pages and RAW did not disappoint. Video game fans everywhere were treated to a new commercial for WWE2K17, which will feature Goldberg as one of the big stars. The game, which will be released this October, can be pre-ordered now and as a thank you for pre-ordering, fans will be privy to a special downloadable Goldberg character. The commercial (which can be viewed below) did not disappoint and has added to much speculation. Some of the more observant fans on Twitter saw that at the end of the video, Goldberg can be seen gazing at a Suplex City sign, referring to none other than Brock Lesnar. Understand that nothing the WWE releases gets out on accident, so the video can be legitimately seen as a tease to a future match between the two. The two met more than a decade ago at WrestleMania XX in what is arguably considered one of the most forgettable WrestleMania matches of all time. When the two fought, word had leaked that it would be each of their final WWE appearances before their contracts ran out, leaving the crowd to turn on the match, which became a laughable affair. Obviously the two have some unfinished business and Goldberg, in particular, might like to see a better ending to his WWE career, so it is possible that Goldberg vs Lesnar may be one of the big matches at next year's WrestleMania 33. There have also been some grumblings that Goldberg may be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame that same year. Goldberg has had a subpar relationship with the McMahons over the last ten years; however, that seems to have thawed in recent months, so look for Goldberg to be a major player in the WWE, as the Company builds towards next year's WrestleMania 33.
