NEWS: TNA's Ethan Carter III Takes a Shot at WWE NXT
NEWS: TNA's EC3 (Ethan Carter III) made a surprise appearance at Evolve 61 this Saturday night. Carter quickly took to the microphone to drop a pipe bomb on Triple H and his brainchild, WWE NXT. EC3 commented on how Triple H & WWE dropped the ball with he and Drew Galloway. He further stated that the two former WWE stars went on to become TNA World Champions on their own and said, "The King of Kings blew it." Carter commented on how awful his run was with NXT and how that strengthened him, turning him into a survivor in the wrestling business. "Oh we have great matches, compelling characters, great storylines.’ NXT, NXT!," Carter sarcastically stated. “You know what makes a star? Surviving. Try surviving obstacle courses, getting slimed, wheelbarrow races, six minute matches where you can’t do any of your cool moves. Here we stand a true success story of independence. Independence is not coddling to the macing. Independence is succeeding despite it," Carter emphasized. Carter continued, "Do you know what this is? This is a microphone. This is what creates box office, this is what puts asses in seats not flips and false finishes." Then EC3 threw former NXT trainer Bill Demott under the proverbial bus, "When it comes to being destroyed, I can only think of one obese sociopath who’s best known for being (inaudible). So hey Bill, guess what? I won!” Interestingly enough, two qualifying matches for WWE's upcoming Cruiserweight Classic took place at Evolve 61. WWE (nor any of its Superstars) have yet to comment on the incident.
